ADMISSION CAMPAIGN CALENDAR AND RULES FOR 2026

The 2026 admission campaign has entered its most active phase. This year, the process has become maximally digitized and synchronized: all key stages have a unified calendar for the entire country. The main platform for admission remains the personal electronic cabinet on the website https://vstup.edbo.gov.ua/.

The schedule depends on the level of education you are applying for:

🎓 Undergraduate (after 11th grade or college)

✅July 1 - beginning of electronic cabinet registration.

✅July 19 - August 1 (until 18:00): Main window for submitting electronic applications.

✅By August 6: publication of lists of those recommended for budget enrollment.

✅By August 11 (18:00): Applicants must confirm their choice of educational institution using an electronic signature or Diia.Sign.

✅By August 13: Official enrollment on a budget.

📘 Graduate

✅July 1 - start of cabinet registration.

✅June 26 - July 14 - main session of the external independent testing (EIT) and the exam for higher education applicants.

✅August 7 - 22 - submission of electronic applications.

✅By August 25 - recommendations for budget places.

📝 Key rules and innovations for 2026

1. Limits on applications. You can submit a total of up to 10 applications, of which no more than 5 can be for budget places.

2. Priority system. When submitting applications for budget places, you must assign a priority from 1 (most desirable) to 5. Be careful: once the application is submitted, the priority cannot be changed.

3. Minimum score. For budget enrollment, most majors require a minimum of 130 points.

4. External independent testing. This year, the test consists of 3 compulsory subjects (Ukrainian language, mathematics, history of Ukraine) and 1 elective subject. You can use the results of EIT and ZNO from 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026.

💡 Tips for successful enrollment

➡️ Check your electronic signature/Diia.Sign: Last-minute signature problems are the most common reason for losing a budget spot.

➡️ Legalize your benefits in advance. If you are entitled to special admission conditions, contact the admissions office of any institution before submitting your first application so that your documents can be added to the register.

➡️ Monitor statuses. After your application is processed by the institution, it will obtain the status "Registered with the educational institution."

The electronic cabinets will operate until October 15, 2026, to ensure the possibility of enrollment during the additional recruitment for contract places.
